Kazin in Maltese means a local club & bar usually owned by political parties, band clubs or football clubs. In every village there a number of these Kazini and are a very important aspect of local village life. A friend of ours runs one of these places in Luqa and he transformed it into a nice, cozy bar where all our friends usually hangout. The music played attracts a young, alternative crowd and sometimes there are some pretty cool events, which we are very happy to do the posters for :)

Rock the South is a rock mini festival happening at Zion, in the south of this little island of ours. There aren't that many entertainment places down in the south and very few gigs or events take place, so the promoters of the event are looking to boost the scene with this lovely mini fest. We decided to give the poster a bit of a political message with a backdrop of chimneys from the power stations & factories, cranes & containers from the freeport which have tainted the once tranquil & traditional southern towns.Graphic Design2012 -
We were tasked with creating a brand which represented this young design company, with whom we've already collaborated on a number of projects before. Make's focus is mainly on interior & exterior design but they also do some really cool furniture made out of reclaimed materials as well as handmade signage work. We were asked by Claudienne, the founder of Jolly Jumpers to develop a brand identity for a new nursery & child care centre in Swieqi. Our main objective was to portray the difference in quality of service between Jolly Jumpers & their other competitor, while making the brand appeal to parents & kids. Sense of Nature asked Panda to take care of rebranding their existing retail websites and help them achieve their dream of creating a one-stop shop for everything related to silk sleeping products home textiles & furnishings.
They had 3-4 different websites selling the same products targeting different European countries. Our job was to unify them into a new universal brand that could appeal internationally and accomodate for the addition of new products.
We came up with the original name Kokuna, which is the latin word for Cocoon, known for being the protective home & shelter that a silk caterpillar weaves to help it transform into a butterfly.

Odds24 is a very cool concept within a very competitive industry. It offers a service to punters which aggregates odds from various bookies and gives recommendations while attracting people that share the interest into a social network.

One of our favourite clients (mostly because of the great food they make :) ), a little restaurant in Valletta, wanted to freshen up a bit the interiors of the restaurant to make it more inline with it's branding.
We ordered custom traditional Maltese floor tiles with the colours of the branding of the restaurant, custom light shades, created frames recesses into the walls behind the bars both as a feature & to gain space.
To top it off we got our hands dirty and build the signage for the logo and a couple of more signs. We printed templates and cut them out of wood, stenciled the letterings and used techniques to age the paint & give it a distressed look.Interior Design2012 -
